Fridays Highlights
We had a great time on Friday, August 27th, at the VFW in Watertown. With about 100 people in attendance, it was a fun night.
Happy Birthday to Michelle.. she was surprised! George played a trick on her and she thought she was surprising somebody else.. She and Randy came all the way from Rome for the festivities.
We had lots of singers, and lots of dancing throughout the night. Some of the singing highlights are, Christine singing "Satin Sheets," Penny singing "Hey Jude," Michelle singing "Suds in the Bucket," Harry M. singing "Turn The Page," Randy singing "The Gambler," George singing "Waltz Across Texas," and Pat singing "Brown Eyed Girl."
We also heard from Cecil, David, Deb, Jay, Harry, David, Don, Grizz, and myself. Jay finally gave up her beer bottle microphone and sand on the real one with a nice performance of "Here For The Party."
Thanks to all who came out, and see ya on September 10th.

Friday Night Highlights May 28th

We had a real big crowd once again at the Watertown VFW, Friday, May 28, 2010.
Over 100 people attended... and we had 23 singers in the rotation throughout the night. Everyone had a fantastic time, and it turned out to be a super fun night.
We heard songs from Mike, Kimber, Erin, Pat, Cecil, Diane, Taylor, Bethany, David, George, Wayne, Steve, Lisa, Don, Penny, Christine, Harry, Adam, Deryk, Deb, Dee, and a few others.

The highlight of the night was an outstanding performance of "The Boxer",, lie, lie, lie... lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie...
We had a few duets, and a couple of group sings, and lots of dancing! It's always fun when everyone gets up to dance along... of course, our star shaker was Corina, who always lights up the floor.
Congratulations to Ken & Dora on their anniversary.. and big thanks to everyone who came out and partied with us. Hope to see you next time.

We had performances by Pat, Joe, Ginny, Candice, David, Cecil, George, Don, Kathy, Erin, Sherry, Dena, Harry, Taylor, Beth, Deb, Duff, Danielle, and several others.. There were several group performances and sing alongs, and a couple of duets.
Sue Adams celebrated her birthday with us, and there was snacks provided.. It was good to see the dance floor being used, as many numbers got the crowd out and moving to the groove! How many times have you danced to "Moving On Up" from The Jeffersons? LOL.
