A GREAT night last night, July 3 at the Watertown American Legion was had by all. Lots of dancing, singing, and fun... the club held it's weekly Queen of Hearts drawing, with no winner once again, but the crowd hung around for the music afterwards.
Lots of new faces and voices were seen & heard.... Stand and Bob are up from Florida, so they made it to our show as usual.
Some of the karaoke highlights of the night included; Bob singing "Young At Heart," Diane singing "When You Say Nothing At All," Nicole singing "Runaway," Ginny singing "Once A Day," Jeff singing "Courtesy of the Red White & Blue," Stan singing "Cabaret," Ed singing "Anymore," Pat singing "Hang On Sloopy," Mike singing "You Never Even Called Me By My Name," Erin singing "Blue," Bobbie singing "The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down," "Frank singing "Sealed With A Kiss," Terry singing "The Dance," Deryk singing "Mr Roboto," Taylor singing "Tim McGraw," and Dee and Diane singing "Lean On Me."
We played a few sets of line dances and got most everyone up for the "Cupid Shuffle." Some of us need lessons.. LOL.
I hope everyone had a great time and we want you to return next Saturday night to the same location, or on Friday to the VFW on Bellew Ave for some fun.
