Whew!! What a show last night at the Watertown VFW Hall!
We had a HUGE turnout once again, with over 100 people at one point in the evening. A steady flow of people all night long, with an average of about 70 people overall. The hall pulled in some funds, and even had another 50/50 drawing for the building fund. The winner of that prize of $78.00, was "Jerry's Kids" which was donated back to the VFW by the winner.
Of course the show was all about karaoke.. and we had a lot of great singers!
Some of the highlights of the night included; Maggie singing "Strawberry Wine," Amanda singing "I Can't Make You Love Me," Jeff singing "Marry For Money," Robert & Diane singing "I Need You," Penny singing "You Can't Be A Beacon," Pam & Merriane singing "Bop," Deb singing "The Teddy Bear Song," Bob singing "Wonderful Tonight," Mark singing "Signs," Sue B singing "Soldier Boy," Pat singing "Runaway," Alfredo & Lindsey singing "Summer Nights," Mike singing "All Shook Up," Lisa singing "I Feel Lucky," and Amy singing "I'm Like A Bird."
Of course we also heard from a few others including, Clay, Bobbie, Jimmy, Dee, Randy, Mary, The Family, Rick Miller, and Sabrina.
Bobbie celebrated her 39th birthday (once more), and was surprised by her friends with cake and gifts. Of course we had to sing her our famour Happy Birthday rendition.
Thanks to everyone who came out. Hope you had a good time and see ya'll next round!!
